GDPR Policies

1) In the following notice when I refer to "I", "me" and "my" it means Krafts by Karen Duignan. When I say "individuals" I mean anyone whose personal information I collect including;
*any individual requesting a product or quotation for a product whose details are provided during this stage.
*any individual requiring their order to be delivered to them
*and any individual who provides their contact information and agrees to further contact from me.

2) How I use personal information....
I use personal information in the following ways;
*to personalise products as requested by the individual,
*to discuss design options and agree on final order,
*to provide quotes and arrange delivery of products.

3) Any individual whose personal information I hold has the right to object to me using it. They can do this at any time by contacting me and I will either stop using their personal information or explian why I may not be able to - further details can be found below.

4) The personal information I collect;
*Basic personal contact information including name, address and email/telephone number to enable me to complete activities in section 2.
*family members /friends details and/or important dates and information where necessary for the making of personalised gift items that have been requested by the individual,
*hobbies, intersts, likes, dislikes, images, business descriptions and/or any other key pieces of information which I may request to enable me to make personalised business photo props, memory pieces or gift tags as examples.

5)Where I collect personal information from;
*directly from individuals, their representatives or from information they have made public for example on social media,
*from other order pathways e.g. my facebook page, Etsy or through an order requested via Instagram.

6)Sharing personal information
I must share an individuals name and address with Royal Mail or if necessary on occasion another courier firm for delivery of their order.

7)How long I keep personal information
I keep information only for as long as I need it to complete a sale , or as required by law or contract.

8)How I store personal information.
On my online Etsy store active order page
and written in my order book - one page per individual customer

9)Know your rights.
Any individual whose personal information I hold has the right to ;
*object to me processing it whereon I can agree or explain why I am unable to (right to object),
*ask for a copy of their personal information I hold,
*ask me to update or correct their personal information to ensure its accuracy,
*to ask me to delete their personal information if it is no longer needed for the original purpose,
*to ask me to restrict the processing of their personal information in certain circumstances,
*ask for a copy of their personal information so it can be used for their own purposes,
*to complain if they feel their personal information has been mishandled..I would encourage individuals to approach me in the first place, but of course they are entitled to complain directly to the Information Commissioners Office (ICO). www.ico.org.uk
*ask me at any time to stop processing their personal information, if the processing is based only on individual consent.

10)Changes to my policies
Occasionally it may be necessary to make changes to this notice. When that happens I will provide an updated version at the earliest opportunity.
